Saturday we took Dylan to Salt Lick for the first time. Hmmm...I forgot the camera, but I should've documented his first trip there cause one day I will say..."We brought you here when you were just a little baby!" Hahaha.
Anyways...it was goooood. And it was Arsenio's treat too. I have noticed that their water and tea tasted funny. I hear it's because of the salt. Clint (I shall remember his name now) brought the guys a bunch of ale. Lyn says he's some kind of beer connoisseur. Neato. Lyn got real red faced so it's probably pretty strong...haha.
Interesting observation...do you agree?
The first plate of all-you-can-eat BBQ is always the best. The second is good. And the third is for the doggy bag. Haha.
Lyn really wanted their homemade pecan pie but he was too full.
I love Rudy's, and County Line is a fun family joint when you crave that beef rib once a year. And I emphasize ONCE A YEAR. Cause it takes a year to digest all that beef. But Salt Lick is the best overall. Brisket is not too fat or lean. Ribs are small enough to eat a few. And the sausage is good and fatty. The sides are light and tasty to compliment all the meat.
I think we will take Dylan shopping for Rose Bowl gear today, but we have to plan accordingly cause Lyn has 2 football games to watch. Last night's Chargers game was exciting.
24 premieres tonight. Cool.
You should go back to Xanga...
Damn U didn't bring the camera! *tsk tsk tsk*
What is Salt Lick...salt lake? Sorry confused...about a lot of things.
Everything seems so foreign to me now, since I have been in ny for over 3 years now.
Well congrats on the baby...and best of luck!
