Happy New Year

Wow.  Whata year.

Xmas was nice. 

Anyways.  We wrapped up the year sitting at home watching 24 and eating chinese food this week. 

Caught the Cal/Tech game last night.  Take that Rogers...we deserve to go to the Rose Bowl.

Going to take Dylan out to New Years party tonight.  Will see how that goes.

Merry Christmas!

Ummm...somebody couldn't wait to open his gift until Xmas morning, claiming he needs time to charge up the battery...whatever!

Oh yah, we are spending our Xmas vacation watching 24 Season 3.  Man...it is sooo good!  Highly recommend it.  (Well...it is much better than watching it week to week, cause there is no commercials and no stupid cliffhangers.  That's how I watch Alias too...much better experience.)

Weather was super this weekend so we took Dylan out Xmas shopping. 

Finally finished all the Christmas cards.  Printing addresses sucked.

Last weekend we tried to take a Xmas family photo, but Dylan wouldn't look at the camera.  Oh well...

Watched lots of rentals lately.  Some of those movies were really a waste of time. 

West Wing is still the best show on TV.  The Wire season finale was tonight and it left me unsatisfied. 

My in-laws are a couple of characters.  They call us everyday to ask us the same questions.  When is Dylan going to the doctor again?  Is he still feeding every 3 hours?  Have you eaten?  Then they give us the same update on Allyson everyday.  She's bigger, eats well, and sleeps well.  Seriously, the same thing every single day.  We are not sure why we need an update everyday, especially when it's not really an update.  I wonder if they do the same to Law.

I haven't had much time for Mushi lately.  I feel really bad.  And what's funny is that she runs and hides when the baby cries.

I want to buy the O.C season 1 on DVD (fo' real) since neither Blockbuster or Hollywood video is renting it out.  Maybe I'll get it from Santa.

I like having Lyndon home.

I also like taking pictures of Dylan for no reason at all.  I want a small digi camera to carry around.  Maybe the one that Paris Hilton has.  Haha.

Oh yah, Stevee and B are going to the Rose Bowl.  Bad ass. 

I'm tired.  But Dylan is awake.  I shall keep him company.

The Powerbook is freaking killing me!

I've had this piece of machine for 2 weeks. I have learned to surf and retrieve email.

iPhoto is killing me. Where the heck is the "save as"? I can't back track step by step?

What's with this Finder thing? You see a file here, but don't see a file there?

I'm pulling my hair out!

I hope Lyndon's iPod Photo is all worth it.

Whata nice weekend!

It was so sunny outside this weekend so we couldn't help ourselves but to take Dylan out for a spin.  He made his first trip to the grocery store and slept quietly as we ate pho.  Hehe.

Lyndon's dad keeps saying that Dylan and Allyson looks just alike.  I don't see that much of a resemblence at all.  I think he just wants his grandchildren to look just like his sons, but ummm...I don't think so.

Man...tonight, my Welcoming Committee chairwoman Deyon came by with dinner.  She's organized a week of food to be brought to us from our neighbors.

This morning she calls and gives me the menu.  It was crazy.

What's crazier is when she showed up.  She came with a basket full of food.  Pasta, salad, bread, and sorbet.  All homemade.  Everything was right out of the oven.  The sorbet was served in disposable champagne glasses.  Oh...almost forgot the bottle of Perrier.  So snazzy and with such class. Lyndon looked at me and said, "I know...you are not easily impressed."  But dang, was I...  So he said that I need to step up my game too now.  Haha.

I am seriously moved by her generosity and kindness.  Lyn always says I'm a giver and not much of a taker.  It's really weird being on the receiving end of something this nice.  Especially from someone that I've just met.  I feel so indebted.  I don't even know how to thank her.
