Well...it sure feels like my due date is approaching. I can barely walk around Costco for 30 minutes without feeling some sort of pain. My doc says all the discomfort is normal. But geez, it's hard for me to get up from the couch, hard for me to bend down, hard for me to get out of the car, and etc etc. One time the pain was so bad that my knees fell to the floor. I think I'm having some serious pre-labor symptons.
So...this weekend we got just about everything ready. I got everything I will need to pack for the hospital (but still need packing). Washed all the baby stuff and Lyndon put together just about every item the baby may need when coming home.
(Updated pic: new elephant) Oh...and when we were at Costco, we saw this cute thing. It's a stuffed animal (only about 2-3 ft tall) but is built to hold 120 pds of weight, so when our baby gets big enough, he can ride on it. It's so cool that we had to get it. Cause when Jess n' Law got us the giraffe, one of my friend's 6 year old daughter decided to climb and ride it and it tore the back and I had to sew it up. So yah, this little animal will come in real handy. We like it so much that I'm going to get an elephant tomorrow so Dylan can bring a friend over and ride it too. LOL. I know...I'm crazy.
One more baby shower tomorrow and I can stay at home and wait for delivery. As uncomfortable as I am...I really shouldn't be moving around much anyways.
So...some non-baby stuff this weekend: (Gosh, I hate that I'm thinking baby everyday right now. But the pain is a real good reminder.) We watched Dawn of the Dead, the director's cut. We still enjoyed it very much. Lyn's buying me a Powerbook cause he doesn't want me in the study anymore. And we are deciding between an iPod or one of those new iPod Photo things, but that's for Lyn. We tried a new pizza/grinders joint that opened up in Volente Plaza. It was pretty good. Oh...and lots of Halo being played ,of course. That just about wraps up the weekend.
Oh man...and the UT game gave me contractions. But it was an exciting 8 minutes.
And dang, ODB is dead!
heard odb died this morning too. drug related?
cool looking animal. might have to get one too.
