I've missed just about every appt to get our infant car seat checked. So figure today was about my last chance.
Really glad we got everything checked out by Safe Kids. Statistically, more than 80% of carseats are installed incorrectly. How scary. I have to say these folks are really thorough. 3 people came to check and check again. The seat can't move more than an inch and it's got to be at a 45 degree angle. Straps are supposed to fit a certain way on the baby...etc etc.
They did say leather seats are slippery, so they added some shelve lining to make it stick to the seat better. Like I said...thorough.
Very glad we made the trip. It ain't that hard to install, but it's always good to have a certified technician to make sure we are doing it right. Safety first!!!
dang, i need to get mine checked. i can't get it to lock tight in the middle lap belt seat. so i moved it to the window side and it still moves a lil. i thought it was supposed to be like super crazy tight.

Not super crazy tight, but tight...
Neat trick, when puting it in, tighten the seat belt and kneal on it to push the car seat down allowing you to click the seat belt closed.
