Seems like our weekend started Thurs night.
Friday night, we played cards until 3am.
Saturday, I was craving barbacoa and the best place to get it in town was at Arandas. It was goood. My new favorite Mexican restaurant in town and freaking cheap. I mean cheap cheap!
The baby shower was Saturday afternoon. It was a great showing and everyone was really generous. We had cake from Lucy's of course. Lyndon started drinking from 4pm. After all the shower festivities, everyone stayed around to chat and watch the TX game. By the time we got home around 10pm, he was pretty much gone. He kept waking up all night for water.
Lyn always worked the lawn on Sundays. I decided to help out and pluck some weeds. I sure worked up a sweat.
Afterwards I was starving so we headed out to get tickets for Shaun of the Dead. Since we were early, we stopped by Arandas for some breakfast. Another great meal!
Shaun of the Dead was really funny. But Lyn definitely enjoyed it more than me. He gave it 4 stars, but it's also cause he had popcorn, hot wings, italian soda, and a root beer float during the movie.
Oh yah, it was really cool that the guys from Shaun of the Dead made a commercial just for the Alamo saying it was the greatest theater. Haha. They even said, "Hook'em Horns!" But they had the hand backwards when they made the sign. LOL. Ahhh...these Brits!
For the rest of the Sunday, it was football and getting ready for his NFL2K5 game. I'll just say...he's had a really freaking great weekend!
Kat thinks she has no cravings - but just put her in front of spicy eggs and tortillas....
