Friday night: Dinner, ice cream, and cards.
Saturday: Lyn and dad went to pick up the pimped out LS 430 in the morning and Law, Jess, and I went baby furniture shopping. Dang, that place was far, but I felt like we accomplished alot. I hadn't changed my mind about the pieces I wanted so that was a good sign.
We all met up at lunch and surprised mom with the car. Geez, if my hubby shows up with a pimped out ride, I'd be jumping up and down, but she was very calm. Dad said she loved it and that was all that mattered.
I brought Along Came Polly to watch with Law n' Jess. Freaking funny ass movie.
Dinner was at the Alamo. We watched Manchurian Candidate. A movie that made us go hmmm... It was a pricey evening but it was a family gathering, so money well spent.
Afterwards was Hold'em tournament style. Jess won the big pot. Law was very excited for her. Lyn should've played sober and I should've got off the tilt quicker and stayed aggressive till the end. But next time Lyn and I plan to sit behind Richard. Hahaha.
Sunday: Left after breakfast. Thanks Law n' Jess. Slept through the afternoon while Lyn worked and read up on his fantasy football stuff. It was HBO night but he was going to do his draft. Now he's all disappointed cause the commissioner rescheduled.
Sounds like you guys had a good weekend...
Freaking Pat changing the draft date the last minute!...I think Lyndon was more mad than anyone tho...guess he did the most research...Lawrence was pretty mad too...
So, Manchurian Candidate a must see, wait for DVD, what?

Stevee (Slin) was actually the most pissed. Haha.
No, pls don't see Manchurian in the theater. Wait until you are bored and watch it on DVD. So many other great summer movies this year.
