Freaky Friday

Is it possible that I spranged my butt? I think I spranged it cleaning my four toilets yesterday.

I had Texadelphia yesterday. I was stuffed. What's up the the supersize curly fries? LOL. I've ate out too much this week, and with all the folks coming to town this weekend, I'll be eating out some more.

I got my maternity swimsuits for Kauai, I look like a penguin. But I decided that I'm not fat, just pregnant. Hahaha. Mind over matter.

But chilling out at the pool has given me a nice glow for the season.

Ba Dong! Ba Dong!

We went to listen to the heartbeat today.

It was wild. I was all nervous for a few minutes while she struggled to find the heartbeat.

But once we heard the "ba dong", Lyndon couldn't stop smiling.

How sweet.

Green Chili Cheese Fries

In order to make it up to me for Monday, when Lyn took his client out last night, I got to go too and invited Diane (the other disgruntled wife) as well. So we headed out to Shady Grove. It was silent movie night so there was a wait at 8pm. How insane. Luckily cause we wouldn't buy any drinks out on the patio while taking up a big table, we got our seats about 30 minutes. LOL!

The green chili cheese fries were awesome. I added mustard to mine cause I'm on a mustard craze. I couldn't decide what to eat so I ordered for both Lyn and I so I could eat both. Chicken fried chicken with green chili rice (yes, I had a green chili theme going for the night) and a mushroom burger with mustard (Lyn only allows me to eat burgers in certain places, so when there is certified angus beef, you bet I had to have it.)

I chumped down the food fast! His client from Philly never had a chicken fried steak so he found it very interesting. Us southerns...Haha.

For dessert, I had a mint chocolate chip ice cream pie. Diane had a cookies and cream thing. We are both pregnant...haha. The desserts were huge!

When we got home around 11pm, we watched highlights of the MIN/SAC game. Maybe we should've gone somewhere with a TV, cause we would've loved to have seen it. Yeah KG!

We're going to Kauai!
June 3-10th for my birthday. I'm turning 26. Haha.

Anyone wanna house sit? LOL.

So I'm interviewing some petsitters cause our last one won't come out here. Boohoo. Mushi liked her.

Aight then, I've gots to go out now and work on a tan so I won't burn on vacation. (I burnt my scalp in Maui, and burnt my eyelids in Jamaica. Yikes.)

Hubby in the Shithouse

Lyndon is getting the silent treatment. Since he doesn't talk much anyways, that just means I don't get to talk. Which sucks, but I know that drives him crazy cause now he has to talk to Mushi (our cat).

So he's like the big man on campus or something and gets to go to Uchi with EMC. Fine. Stay out late while I carry his child! LOL. But you people know, I ain't no stickler about my hubby going out to have fun. But I do have a problem when his stinkin' a** does not even call to check in when it's really late. RULE: I do not like to call him when he's out cause it makes him look bad. Like I've got him on a leash or something. So I don't call until it's around midnight. But the point is...I shouldn't have had to call. He should've given me a courtesy call before then just to tell me he's alive and sobering up or something. SO...by the time I have to pick up the phone, he is in the shits. So that is what happened last night.

He's gonna have to make it up to me for the rest of the week!

And I'll be posting lots of crazy stuff in my head, cause I can't talk to Lyndon. Haha.

AND THEN...he leaves his mobile at home, and now I'm his secretary!

Super Sunny Sunday

After we (mostly Lyndon) finished lawnwork, we headed out for a splash in the pool. Water was kinda cold, but good thing the sun was nice and bright. Boy, do I need a tan or what!?! And afterwards, we went to Shake's for some sundaes. What a weekend!

Sunny Saturday

Oh my hubby...

He took me to town to the opening of our Farmer's Market today. No...it ain't no market like the one in Seattle or nothing, but it was still fun and interesting in an Austin kinda way. So the great thing about market day is that there are a bunch of local vendors out, so we couldn't help ourselves but try out everything FREE that was for sample. I tried my first bite of Ethiopian food, and bought their eggplant wrap. Then we tried some jammin' brownies. I personally like the Kona coffee flavor, but Lyn really dug the Zen flavor with crystalized ginseng. It was good, but I think he bought it cause it sounds cool. But the best item was the tamales. I got a pork one...spicy! And Lyn got a black been one, that was freaking tasty too. It's kinda different cause its wrapped in banana leaves instead. Then lastly I bought some raw honey. Sweeet!

And after all that food, we headed down Congress to Habana for some Cuban/Puerto Rican cookin'. Yum. We both had a roast pork and ham sandwich, except mine was sandwiched in a plantain instead of bread. Pork was so good. Then we had flan.

Then after that Lyn took me to get some maternity clothes.

Now he's working on his project plan so he can take me on vacation. I'm spoiled.

Exciting Must See TV!

So...I had to watch Rupert take the million bucks on Survivor, cause I voted for him. And no, Colby is not the sexiest survivor.

Frazier: What a series finale! It was so much better than the end of Friends.

Lakers vs. Spurs: Sorry Ric.

ER: What the heck! That was a good season finale.

Man...all these finales made Friends look cheap. Too bad.

Is it Thursday already?

It's rainy and cloudy outside. It's Austin's rain season. I'm allergic to rain. I get headaches and allergies and very very bad moods.

I find myself procrastinating alot lately, probably because of the rain too.

I don't like reality shows. But Lyn sucked me into watching 2 of them this season: Survivor and American Idol.
Survivor: All-Stars my a**! How are these people so stupid that they never voted off Amber or Boston Rob. Boring!
American Idol: What the heck! They voted off LaToya! And Randy is an idiot. Stop the DAWG thing!

So I think I'm gonna have to cut off all reality TV. I was right, they suck.

I'll just wait for the summer season on HBO, Six Feet Under and The Wire. The Sopranos are surprisingly good this year. I like Steve Buscemi.

I'm craving tortilla soup. Come to think of it. I can fill this site up with a bunch of food I crave...LOL.

Oh yah. Jess said that mom and dad has booked a banquet for our babies' first month Red Egg and Ginger Party. Which means you get an red egg along with your dinner. So mark your busy calendars for January 22, 2005. Dang, my in-laws sure don't waste any time.

Mother's Day Weekend

We went to Las Alamedas for Mother's Day Brunch.

Afterwards, we went to see Van Helsing. It really really bites.
